Dr. Leytham completed his internship and residency while serving in the Air Force at Elgin AFB, Florida. Upon leaving the service in 1997 and until 2001, he practiced as an Emergency Room Physician at many Southwest Texas hospitals and was on faculty at UTHSCSA Department of Family Practice as an Assistant Professor Clinical Medicine. Prior to joining Alamo City Medical Group Dr. Leytham was in private practice in LaVernia, Texas.
Dr. Leytham's special areas of patient care are occupational medicine, smoking cessation, disease prevention, weight loss, adult ADD and sexual dysfunctions for married couples. His special areas of patient care lend very specifically to his goal of helping working parents remain healthy for the sake of their children.
