Founded in the summer of 1994, Alamo City Medical Group, P. A. (ACMG) has grown to be one of the major providers of occupational medicine and primary care in the greater San Antonio area. Over the last ten years, operations have grown from one location, three providers and a staff of twenty - to seven locations, twenty providers and a staff exceeding one hundred. ACMG has an excellent reputation for providing quality medical care and service exceeding ninety thousand patient encounters last year.

ACMG is the one of the largest primary care organization in San Antonio owned and operated by its physicians with no direct ties to any specific insurance company or hospital system. Bruce Begia, M.D., serves as CEO, President and Medical Director, Mr. Ron Stone serves as Administrator and Steven Ingram, M.D., serves as Associate Medical Director. ACMG provides six distinct areas of medical services: Occupational Medicine & On-Site Medical care, Primary care and Acute care. Each plays a significant role in ACMG's mission to provide excellent medical care to our community.

Through hard work, superior customer service and living our corporate values, ACMG has developed ongoing business relationships with major employers in the San Antonio community. These employers include H.E. Butt Grocery Co., Boeing Aerospace San Antonio, San Antonio Express News, Nix Healthcare System, Omni La Mansion Del Rio Hotel, San Antonio Water Systems (SAWS), San Antonio Independent School District (SAISD), Kinetic Concepts, Inc. (KCI), Sysco Food Services, Inc., Zachry Construction Company, Toyota and the Bexar County Sheriff's Department to name a few. ACMG also has ongoing working agreements with most major health insurance carriers doing business in the San Antonio market place.
